The Church On Main a Christ-centered, Bible-based, non-denominational church located in a small town setting. Our worship is contemporary and informal, creating a welcoming atmosphere where people from all walks of life can come as they are. We embrace a blended and diverse community united by a shared desire to grow in God’s Word and live out the love of Jesus Christ. Our focus is simple: to know Him more deeply and passionately, to follow His Word faithfully, and to serve others with compassion.

The Church on Main (TCOM) was founded in May of 2003. We began with seventeen people attending a vision sharing service. The Lord has been good to us. We have seen growth spiritually and numerically and our facilities have come a long way.

Our church building was at one time the “Wal-Mart” of Columbia. The Lampton Co. was a large retail outfitter that stood as the hub of Columbia economics. Our prayer is that God will continue the tradition found in the testimony of these walls. We pray that God will allow TCOM to be a hub of revival in our region.

The Church On Main's journey from 2003 to now has been filled with celebrations, miraculous moments, and amazing spiritual growth. Regardless of what happens next, TCOM's Mission is to help you discover the life you were meant to live in Christ.

1. Know God

God wants to know you personally. More than just practicing religion, He want to have a relationship with you. Our worship services are where we focus on helping people know God, and we hope you will join us again soon.

2. Find Freedom

You can know God and still have a skewed worldview or baggage from your past. God’s process for you to experience freedom from yesterday is to have healthy relationships in your life with people who will encourage you in your relationship with Him. Connecting with the church through Small Groups is how we find life-changing community at The Church on Main. 3. Discover Purpose

Everything changes when you realize the reason you were created. You are an important part of God’s plan, and your life will never make sense until you discover your purpose. Our Fast Track is designed to help you take this important step. Fast Track takes place periodically throughout the year so make plans to attend the next time.

4. Make a Difference

God’s ultimate plan for your life is to make a difference. The Bible says your joy will be complete when you make a positive impact on other people’s lives. Through different ministries, you can connect to the opportunities available at The Church on Main to live out your purpose and serve others by using your God-given gifts.

LOVE.

The 2nd greatest commandments that Jesus identified are simple – love God, and love people. It’s the foundation of who we’re supposed to be as followers of Christ. We do everything with an attitude of love for each other and for the world around us.

UNITY.

We can achieve more for the kingdom of God together, as one body of believers, than we can separately. When we come together united under the same vision and purpose, we become more than just a team. We become family.

JOY.

We cultivate an environment of fun, laughter, and positivity. We use creative ways to communicate God’s love for people. Serving God should be a blast, so we laugh big, loud, and often.

LEADERSHIP.

When we serve, we help set the example for the next generation of believers. We promote growth and maturity in those who are dedicated to serving the Lord and His people will all of their might.

PROMOTION.

We will always brag on God and what He’s done for us, because that’s one of the most powerful ways to relate God’s goodness to others. We will always be prepared to tell others of the wondrous ways that God has changed our lives, and we share our excitement for what God’s doing now, and what He’ll do in the future.
